The Computer Science Department offers virtual drop-in advising for current majors or minors only. Suitable topics for a drop-in advising include quick questions regarding course selection, questions about academic resources, or other questions related to policies. Drop-ins do not substitute for mandatory advising. Please note, all other advising matters should be addressed with your assigned advisor including course permissions.

Yes, you can review your degree audit in Drop-In Advising. Please have your degree audit and/or 4-Year Plan ready to review before joining.
Currently we do not offer in-person advising during Drop-In Advising. This may change in a future semester.
We only offer daily Drop-In Advising at the start of the semester during the schedule adjustment period. During the rest of the spring and fall semesters, Drop-In Advising is offered Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. These hours may differ during summer, winter, and holiday breaks.
