Summer CS Announcement for the Week 7/7/2026

  1. Update to CS Honors Requirements: there is no longer an application to enter the program. The application is now at the end of the process, and CS Honors are awarded based on the completion of the program’s requirements. Please contact honors-chairs [at] cs [dot] umd [dot] edu () with any questions! 
  2. CMSC416 and CMSC470 have been added to the Fall 2026 schedule of classes. Please reach out to your advisor if you would like to update your course permissions! 
  3. The CS Emergency Fund is now open to receive applications from all CS majors
  4. If you are registered (or planning to register) for a Summer course please check the semester deadlines for schedule adjustment information! Deadlines can vary depending on the class.
  5. Last day to apply for summer 2026 graduation is July 16, 2026. 
  6. Friday July 24th: Summer Undergraduate Research Conference
