The Role

Bloomberg’s Research and Development department offers exciting opportunities for highly-motivated individuals seeking a challenging technical role in the financial industry.  The ideal candidate must possess strong technical skills and or strong interest in programming with minimal exposure.  An extensive training program will provide Bloomberg-specific technical and financial skills needed to succeed in our fast-paced, dynamic organization.  Successful applicants will be involved in the design and development of state-of the-art financial information products. The position can lead to a variety of career paths, including technologist and financial specialist.

 

Qualifications

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving skills

·         Self-motivated; detail-oriented

·         Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

·         Ability to start full-time work in New York City in August 2009

·         Resume should include GPA and relevant programming skills
