Vanguard will sponsor three student scholarships for the 2009 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing. Winners of the scholarships will receive the opportunity to attend the conference in Tucson AZ. Sept 30 through Oct 3. The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing is a series of conferences designed to bring the interests of women in computing to the forefront. This years’ theme is “Creating Technology for Social Good.”  Past Grace Hopper Celebrations have resulted in collaborative proposals, networking, mentoring and increased visibility for the contributions of women in computing and we look forward to supporting this event.

The application process is now open.  The deadline to apply for a scholarship is May 27, 2009.  Interested students should apply directly through the Grace Hopper Celebration website.
