Computing in Keystone Colorado October 1-4, 2008. This year’s Program is also available online and in downloadable PDF format. Details below, along with information about Google scholarships to attend.

2008 Google Scholarships Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing

As part of Google’s ongoing commitment to encouraging women to excel in computing and technology, we are pleased to announce the 2008 Google Women of Color Scholarship and the 2008 Google Global Community Scholarship to help students attend the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing at the Keystone Resort, Colorado on Oct. 1 – 4, 2008.

Google Women of Color Scholarships
A group of 10 female computer science students will be chosen from the applicant pool. Each selected student will receive up to $1650 USD from the Anita Borg Institute for airfare, hotel, conference registration and other travel requirements.

Google Global Community Scholarships
A group of 10 female students outside of the USA will be chosen from the applicant pool. We encourage women from throughout the world to apply. Each selected student will receive up to $2,500 USD from the Anita Borg Institute for airfare, hotel, conference registration and other travel requirements.

All applications must be submitted by June 15, 2008. Results will be announced through the Anita Borg Institute by email on or before August 1, 2008.
