What you will be doing:

As with any position, the overall day-to-day responsibilities can vary from project to project. During your internship you will be focused on one development project and will be mentored by several members our team. During this time you will:

· Analyze requirements, work with members of our team to understand the architecture and design of the solution you will build and implement

· Learn how to develop solutions with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft .NET.

· Integrate with external systems using web services

· Develop several distinct components, web parts, that will be used in the solution.

· Document results and outcomes of the solution

· Gain some exposure to client related projects

Preferred Candidates will have many of these qualifications:

  • Software Development experience using ASP.NET, Microsoft’s .NET Framework, XML Web Services in C# or VB.NET; advanced C++ will be considered in lieu of .NET exposure
  • Knowledge of database technologies such as: Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, and T-SQL
  • HTML, Javascript, XML, XSLT experience desired
  • General knowledge of Object Oriented Development
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply concepts quickly
