Take CMSC 297 in the Fall of 2008.

FORMAT: Every lecture
a faculty will come to our class and give a talk on their research area. The goal is to get the students thinking about research projects.
Five times during the semester we will attend the Monday Colloquium Instead.

MEETING TIME: The class meets Every Monday 4-5 in CSI 2107

GRADING POLICY: This is a 1-credit P/F course.
The only requirement is attendance, which we take seriously.

PREREQ: No Formal Prereq, but you’ll get more out of it if you have had CMSC 212 and 250.

NOTE: This is NOT just for honors students. Any student who is interested in doing research should take it!
