Here’s a good summer position at NIH for a student who seeks a computationally challenging project. — JMP
The Mathematical and Statistical Computing Laboratory, Division of Computational Biosciences, Center for Information Technology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, may have a summer opening for an advanced undergraduate or first year graduate student involving scientific programming. The project consists of adapting C++ codes used to simulate mass and thermal energy flow so that the codes can utilize massively parallel processing. Knowledge of C++ will be required. Interested students should supply me a CV/resume to my email address below for more information. NIH is an equal opportunity employer.
