Every year, as students, you encounter outstanding professors, instructors, teaching assistants (tas) and advisors. Of course, you are thankful for the help that they give you. Why wouldn’t you be? However, if you are looking for an extra-special way to show your appreciation, here is how you can thank the people who help you every day:

Nominate them for an award from CMPS (College of Computational, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences)!

It’s quite simple really.

Follow the link to the nomination page, and briefly explain why you would like to nominate a professor, instructor, ta or advisor. Perhaps you’ll write that you appreciate all of the extra time that he or she spent in office hours with you. Perhaps you’ll want to mention a particularly fantastic lecture that he or she delivered.

The possibilities are endless. So nominate someone today.
