The University of Maryland’s Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering is holding its annual ECE Career Fair event for ECE undergraduate and graduate students on Friday, February 8, 2008, in the Jeong H. Kim Engineering Building from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The event is co-sponsored by the Engineering Co-Op & Career Services Office and the ECE Graduate Student Association (ECEGSA), as well as the ECE Undergraduate Student Council.

ECE undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent alumni are encouraged to participate in the fair, and can register online at http://www.ece.umd.edu/fair.

*** PLEASE NOTE: Computer Science students who have recently been enrolled or are currently enrolled in Electrical and Computer Engineering courses, or who are double majoring in ECE, are welcome to register to attend the fair. ***

Opportunities for co-ops and internships will be available, as well as full time positions. First, second, and third-year students are encouraged to attend to pursue internship and co-op opportunities, as well as students nearing graduation who are interested in full time positions. Sandwiches and refreshments will be available to all participating students.


There are currently 36 employers registered to attend the fair, exclusively to recruit ECE students. A list of participating employers is located on the ECE Career Fair main page.
