You saw the pre-release last month. And now it’s official …

With the start of a new semester, we’re switching over to this blog format for distributing information, rather than spam our majors with so much email as in the past. You may still get the occasional priority note from us by email - but not the routine traffic. Please make a habit of checking here to stay up to date on news of interest to the community. We’ll promise to keep the content useful if you promise to keep an eye on it. (Feel free to suggest content too!)

Staying on top of the traffic is easy, especially because we support syndication (e.g. RSS feeds.) This means you can subscribe via your favorite browsers (or a host of other tools) and let your machine pull data automatically - peruse headlines when you want. (You’re all big, strong computer science majors - you can figure it out!)

Pages will be served up from URLs that reach into the old site - but only for a while. If you’ve bookmarked them, then have care to think about updating to our new site, thanks.
