Ken Lorber (”Keni”) is a fellow Terp who has positions available at StackSafe (www.stacksafe.com)  We give two thumbs up. Check it out … JMP

StackSafe is a rapidly expanding startup with our first product launching on 1/28. We expect to have ongoing openings for systems programmers, support and sales engineers, and various management types with Windows, Linux, and/or Solaris experience. Our currentopenings (and lots more information about what we do) is on our website. While most of our current openings require significantexperience, this will change to some extent over time; in addition, as we grow, other positions at various experience levels will be created to support the evolving structure.

Enough with the dull stuff - so what do we get to play with? Virtualization, lots of open source programs, and soon a Nintendo Wii. Combine that with our proprietary code and you get a product that helps operations groups deploy changes to, and diagnose problemsin, their IT environments.

We’re an informal (if very busy) group within walking distance of Tyson’s Corner with great benefits and company-provided lunch on Thursdays. Concepts like telecommuting (not full time) and flexible hours are common, meaningless meetings are not. This is a startup -goals, priorities, and timelines shift constantly - if this sounds like fun and you or someone you know are _really_ good at somethingwe need, I want to hear from you.
